This is for first-time visitors who want to see Israel’s highlights in just one week. Before you arrive we have a one-on-one call, so the itinerary is genuinely yours: it adapts to your interests, your faith background, and how active you want to be.

Day 01 · Tel Aviv

Jaffa and Tel Aviv. Our journey begins at the old port of Jaffa, exploring its alleys, culture and legends, then crossing into Tel Aviv — founded in 1909 — to see what earned it UNESCO status and what gave the city its charm. We finish at the Carmel Market.

Day 02 · North

Caesarea and Haifa. Visit Caesarea, one of the Mediterranean’s most impressive ancient cities, then take in the view over the Bahá’í Gardens above Haifa and the secrets hidden in its hills.

Day 03 · Jerusalem

The Holy City, the axis mundi, has been a place of worship and pilgrimage for 3,000 years. Explore the underground City of David, visit the Western Wall, and uncover the secrets of the Old City’s quarters.

Day 04 · Jerusalem

Starting our second day in the Old City. Depending on your interests we either take time over David’s Tower and the different religions, or head into new Jerusalem, the Montefiore Windmill, downtown, and the Machane Yehuda shuk to close the day.

Day 05 · South

Masada and the Dead Sea. Down to the lowest place on earth: the cable car up to Herod’s clifftop fortress, the story of its last stand, and a float in the Dead Sea.

Day 06 · South

From craters to borders. The Ramon Crater — the largest erosion crater in the world, neither a meteor strike nor a volcano but a genuine geological rarity — and then down to the Gaza envelope. A Bedouin experience can be included, or taken instead.

Day 07 · Jerusalem

Memory in Jerusalem. A reflective final day on how modern Israel remembers, at Yad Vashem and on Mount Herzl, with time in Machane Yehuda and at the Israel Museum before you head home, or continue to Tel Aviv.

Pricing is quoted for the week as a whole, shaped by season and group. Ask about discounts if it’s off season.

Practical notes

Seven days, built around a one-to-one call before you arrive so the itinerary is genuinely yours rather than a fixed route with your name on it.

The week covers the whole country — Tel Aviv and the coast, the north, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and the south — so expect a mix of walking days and driving days.

Shabbos shapes the week. From Friday afternoon to Saturday night much of the country closes, and the itinerary is built around that rather than fighting it.

Pack for range: Old City stone, desert heat, and cool evenings in Jerusalem and the north.

Questions about this day

Is the itinerary fixed?
No. There is a one-to-one call before you arrive, and the week adapts to your interests, your faith background and how active you want to be. The seven days shown are a shape, not a script.
What happens on Shabbos?
Much of the country closes from Friday afternoon to Saturday night. The week is built around that rather than against it, and for a lot of visitors the Shabbos in Jerusalem is the part they remember.
What does a week cost?
A multi-day journey is quoted as a whole rather than as seven day rates, because it depends on numbers, season, and how much of the accommodation you want handled. Trips of five days or more bring the daily rate down. Ask about discounts if it is off season.
Is accommodation included?
Transportation may be included, depending on the package and the tour. Where it is, it is a private vehicle with a driver sized to your group. Entrance tickets and permits work the same way. Everything is agreed with you in advance, so nothing is a surprise on the day.
How big can the group be?
Any size. Yona guides couples and families and he guides large groups: the route, the pace and the vehicle are built around the number.
